These Terms & Conditions describe the general terms that apply when you use the Silver Creek Estimation website or request our construction estimating and material takeoff services.

1. Services

Silver Creek Estimation provides construction estimating, quantity takeoff, and related estimating support services based on information and project documents provided by the customer.

The scope of each project may vary depending on the plans, specifications, requested trades, project requirements, and agreed scope of work.

2. Project Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and reasonably complete plans, drawings, specifications, and other information required for the requested service.

If project information is incomplete, unclear, revised, or changed after work has started, additional time or charges may apply depending on the circumstances and agreed scope.

3. Estimates and Takeoffs

Estimates and takeoffs are prepared using the project information available to us at the time of preparation. They are intended to assist contractors, subcontractors, builders, and other construction professionals with budgeting, bidding, and project planning.

Estimates should be reviewed by the customer before being used for bidding, purchasing, contracting, or other business decisions. Actual quantities, material prices, labor costs, availability, site conditions, and project requirements may vary.

4. Pricing and Fees

Estimating fees are based on the project scope, size, complexity, trades requested, turnaround requirements, and other applicable factors.

The applicable fee and scope will be communicated to the customer before work begins.

5. Payment

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, project payment terms are 50% upfront and 50% before submission of the completed estimate.

Payment may be made using the payment methods made available by Silver Creek Estimation.

6. Revisions and Scope Changes

Reasonable revisions related to the original agreed scope may be considered. Major changes, additional trades, substantially revised drawings, or work outside the original scope may require an additional fee.

7. Project Documents and Confidentiality

Customers should only submit documents that they are authorized to provide. Project documents may be accessed by personnel or service providers when reasonably necessary to perform the requested services or operate the business.

Customers should avoid submitting sensitive personal information that is not necessary for the requested estimating service.

8. Intellectual Property

Customers retain rights to the project documents they provide, subject to any rights belonging to architects, engineers, contractors, owners, or other third parties.

Estimating files and deliverables prepared for a customer are provided for that customer's intended project and use.

9. Website Use

You agree to use this website for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or misuse website content or services.

10. Third-Party Information

Product information, material pricing, labor information, and other third-party data used in estimating may come from external sources. Such information may change over time and may not always reflect current market conditions or local availability.

11. Limitation of Responsibility

Our estimates and takeoffs are professional estimating deliverables based on the information available for the project. The customer remains responsible for reviewing the deliverables and making final bidding, purchasing, contracting, and project decisions.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
